‘Robertson close to Liverpool exit’ amid fresh transfer development – Exclusive
Andy Robertson could be edging closer to a Liverpool exit as the summer transfer window nears.
The Reds will be keen to add to their squad before the new season kicks off after making just one signing in Federico Chiesa this year.
This could also result in multiple big-name stars departing Anfield, with the Scotland international potentially preparing for a move elsewhere.
This won’t come as a surprise to many, especially after the 31-year-old’s performance against Fulham in the L4 club’s latest outing.

Robertson preparing for a Liverpool exit
The Scot has been an everpresent on Merseyside ever since signing from Hull City, playing a key role under Jurgen Klopp for years.
It does appear that his best form is behind him, showcased by his trio of mistakes as Alex Iwobi scored for the Cottagers in a 3-2 win.
This could spark the Reds into signing a new left-back in the summer as Richard Hughes looks to take advantage of his prior links.
Former Brentford and Leicester City manager Martin Allen believes Arne Slot and Co. could move for Milos Kerkez and move on Robertson in the upcoming window.
Speaking exclusively to Liverpool News, Allen said: “He’s had a stellar career at Liverpool, I love his attitude.
“With all players, they get to a point where they’ve peaked and afterwards, they slowly lose form and their mobility. I think he’s still got it, but he’s not as good as he was a few years ago.
“Rumours of them signing Kerkez probably means they are looking at how to replace him at Liverpool and take them to another level.
“Clubs have to be ruthless, and I’m sure Liverpool will be considering their options.
“There will be players coming in and out and I would imagine that Robertson would be close to the exit door.“

Kerkez to replace Robertson at Liverpool
There is no doubt that the Hungary international would represent an excellent piece of business for the Reds to kickstart their summer.
Kerkez has had an excellent season with Bournemouth and could be set to link up with Hughes for a second time, this time at Anfield.

The 21-year-old would add a youthful exuberance to the backline under Slot which could come as a benefit if Trent Alexander-Arnold was to leave.
It will be interesting to see if the former AZ Alkmaar man was to join, what would happen to Robertson and where he could depart to.
