Liverpool ready big-money Jarrod Bowen deal amid Salah exit news
Liverpool could make a splash for West Ham star Jarrod Bowen if Mohamed Salah departs in the summer.
The Egyptian has notched a remarkable 44 goal contributions in 30 Premier League matches this season but his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Reds have made no progress on an extension for the 32-year-old despite his stunning form and he may be set to walk away for free.
Arne Slot may be in the market for a replacement if the unthinkable happens and Salah leaves Anfield for greener pastures.

Liverpool could replace Salah with Bowen as exit looms
Liverpool’s interest in Bowen is well documented and a move may finally come to fruition for the Hammers star after years of speculation.
Speaking on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast (4 April), Pete O’Rourke claimed that the Reds may swoop for the 27-year-old if Salah departs.
He said: “I’m sure they could afford him, it would be a hefty price tag because Bowen is a key man for that West Ham team, he’s been on Liverpool’s radar for a while now.
“Obviously, Bowen can play in the same position as Salah or as a number nine, which he has done for West Ham on previous occasions.
“They do admire the England international, he’s a top proven Premier League player and if Liverpool were to lose Mo Salah, I’m sure he’d be a player that would on their list to come in and fill the void.”

Salah contract renewal should be the priority for Liverpool
It is unfathomable that Salah could leave Liverpool while still in the peak of his powers, terrorising defenders on a weekly basis.
The Reds should be focused on doing whatever they can to keep the Egyptian at the club beyond the summer as he has shown no signs of slowing down despite his advancing age.
Stats (Premier League) | Salah | Bowen | Gakpo | Diaz | Nunez | Jota |
Goals | 27 | 8 | 8 | 9 | 5 | 6 |
Assists | 17 | 5 | 3 | 5 | 2 | 3 |
Slot’s side have heavily relied on the 32-year-old this season and is a major factor in the commanding lead that they have forged at the summit of the Premier League.
A new deal for Salah may require Fenway Sports Group to break their strict wage structure that they have implemented on Merseyside but they simply cannot allow him to leave, it is a no-brainer to keep him around.
The Reds’ output on the field would be significantly reduced without Salah as the likes of Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez have struggled to score on a regular basis.
Bowen is a good player but he is nowhere near the level of the Egypt international and he should not be the replacement, there should not have to be a successor yet, a deal needs to be made between the two parties.
