Carragher rips into Robertson after ‘nightmare’ moment in Liverpool loss v Fulham
Jamie Carragher wasn’t holding back as Andy Robertson played his part in a Liverpool defeat against Fulham on Sunday.
The Reds travelled to Craven Cottage on 6 April and came away with nothing as the home side secured a 3-2 win in West London.
Goals from Alex Mac Allister and Luis Diaz weren’t enough for Arne Slot’s side to take anything back to Merseyside with them, as the Premier League title remains on ice.
As well as the defeat, one moment in the first half involving Robertson that left former Anfield ace Carragher fuming on the gantry.

Carragher tears into Robertson error v Fulham
It gets more likely by the week that Slot will secure a title in his first season in L4 since taking over from Jurgen Klopp in the summer.
With that being said, the Reds could live to regret taking their foot off the gas too much, as showcased by their defeat against the Cottagers.
Ibrahima Konate was particularly frustrating to watch, but it was Robertson who made an error that ultimately cost his side the game.
The Scotland international gave the ball away twice before an Alex Iwobi strike deflected off him and past Caoimhin Kelleher.
This didn’t go down well with Carragher live on Sky Sports Main Event (6 April, 2:33pm), as he was left baffled by the defender.
He said: “He gets himself into a mess Andy Robertson, not once but twice. He’s trying to find Curtis Jones, it’s such a poor pass for a player of his quality.
“He gets an opportunity to redeem himself, it’s a really poor header. It hits him as well on the way in. Robertson had a nightmare in the game at Anfield, and he’s made a similar start here.”

Robertson was poor for Liverpool v Fulham
There is no doubt that the 31-year-old has been far from his best this season but has struggled against Fulham in both outings.
In the first clash of the season, the Scot was sent off, and on 6 April he was heavily at fault for a goal which resulted in a disappointing defeat.

This saw Slot remove him with eight minutes to go as Conor Bradley came on and instantly had a positive impact on the side.
This may not bode well for Robertson in the final seven games of the season as the Reds go in search of the title in the coming weeks.
