Jamie Carragher makes shocking Fulham v Liverpool prediction

Jamie Carragher is convinced Liverpool will not have it easy against Fulham on Sunday.

Liverpool will be looking to extend their winning streak in the Premier League to five games when they visit Craven Cottage on 6 April.

However, the Reds will be wary of the threat posed by Fulham, who, unlike the last two teams they faced, are placed in the top half of the table.

The Cottagers, though, have had an inconsistent run of form and will be determined to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat against Arsenal on Tuesday, 1 April.

Carragher ‘wouldn’t be surprised’ by Craven Cottage twist

Liverpool need 13 more points to clinch the Premier League title and can edge another step closer with a win at Craven Cottage.

However, Fulham are only one of three teams to take points off Arne Slot’s side at Anfield this season and will be confident of doing the same in West London this weekend.

That is why Carragher has said he would not be surprised if the Reds dropped points against the Cottagers, thus predicting a 1-1 draw in the encounter.

“Liverpool dropped points at home to Fulham and I wouldn’t be surprised if they did the same again”, Carragher wrote in his prediction for Sky Sports’ Super6.

The Sky Sports pundit predicted that the clash between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford will also end in a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool to claim all three points against Fulham

While it is easy to see the logic behind Carragher’s prediction, there is no denying that Liverpool will be disappointed if they win against Fulham.

Marco Silva’s side do not have a particularly great record at Craven Cottage, having won only two of their last eight Premier League games there.

In the West London outfit’s defence, they only lost two of those matches as well, although Slot will still be confident about his chances of claiming all three points.
