Mohamed Salah hope emerges at Liverpool in yet another Real Madrid twist

Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah is out of contract in the summer and is yet to sign a new deal at Anfield.

The Merseyside club could have left it too late to renew Salah’s deal, who is having a sensational season in the Liverpool colours.

The Egyptian has 54 goal contributions in 43 appearances for the Reds this season and is on course to break several records with his displays.

While Liverpool have offered him a new contract, the former AS Roma man has not yet signed an extension, posing concerns over his future.

However, there is newfound hope regarding Salah’s contract.

Liverpool optimistic about Salah renewal

The Reds remain positive about Salah signing a new deal at Anfield, as per TEAMtalk.

While the Merseysiders are set to lose Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid in the summer, they are hopeful of the Egyptian winger signing a new deal.

The Premier League leaders are aware that Salah will wait for the contract talks to conclude before opening talks with another club, as Saudi Arabian clubs remain keen on the 32-year-old’s services.

While uncertainty continues to surround Liverpool regarding Salah’s contract, the Reds have been linked with several right-wingers before the summer transfer window begins.

Touted as Salah’s potential replacement, Real Madrid winger Rodrygo has been linked with Arne Slot’s side.

However, the latest report adds that there have been no advanced talks between Liverpool and the player or Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Rodrygo has attracted a lot of interest from Premier League clubs and is on top of his game, so prizing him away from the Spanish giants would cost upwards of £80million.

Salah is still the most influential player in the league

The Anfield chiefs need to do everything in their power to keep the Egyptian talisman at the Anfield club.

The former Chelsea attacker has easily been Liverpool’s most influential player in the last seven to eight years at the Merseyside club, and despite being 32, he has plenty of fuel in his tank.

While planning for the future is the right approach, letting Salah go when he has been proving himself week in and week out may be the wrong decision.

The winger is not only an influential figure on the pitch but also commands a huge brand value, and this must be sorted out, immediately.
