Bournemouth ‘seal Milos Kerkez transfer agreement’ as Liverpool ready deal
Liverpool are looking to sign a left-back in the upcoming summer transfer window as Andy Robertson enters the final 12 months of his deal at Anfield.
The Reds currently have Robertson and Konstantinos Tsimikas in their squad, but Arne Slot is planning for the future and wants to sign a left-sided defender.
Robertson is 31 and his contract expires in the summer of 2026. The Scotsman has been a key part of Slot’s side, playing 27 Premier League games this term.
However, his performances haven’t been up to the mark, raising questions over his continuity as a starter in the team.
Liverpool want Bournemouth man
With Robertson’s future uncertain, Liverpool are interested in signing Bournemouth full-back Milos Kerkez.
The Hungarian has been one of the standout performers for Andoni Iraola’s side, contributing two goals and six assists in 29 Premier League outings.
The Cherries are aware that Kerkez has generated a lot of interest and have reached a decision that they will not stand in the way of the player if he decides to leave in the summer.
According to TEAMtalk, if a competitive offer is made for Kerkez, Bournemouth will let the Hungarian defender leave.

Bournemouth chairman Bill Foley is prepared to sell as long as he feels the transfer will be right for the player and the financial package offered is satisfactory. The chairman will fly to the UK in April to discuss the players’ futures in person.
The South Coast club held a meeting over Zoom to discuss the futures of some of their players ahead of the transfer window, with players like Kerkez, Dango Outtara, Dean Hujisen and Antoine Semenyo generating interest.
The Reds also like Antoine Semenyo
The Merseysiders also admire Semenyo, who has been another shining light in Iraola’s team. The Ghana international has 15 goal contributions in 32 games this season.
Semenyo getting linked with a move to Anfield is an indication that Liverpool are scouting the market for right-wingers, should Mohamed Salah decide to leave the Reds at the end of the season.
Although the Anfield chiefs are optimistic about Salah signing a new deal, the Egyptian is yet to agree terms of the new deal.
