Liverpool make Jarell Quansah decision after Newcastle interest
Liverpool are set to be forced into a decision regarding Jarell Quansah’s future during the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old has thrived under Arne Slot this season and has showcased his qualities when given an opportunity in the team.
However, he has been behind Virgil Van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate in the pecking order at Anfield which has sparked question marks about his long-term future with the Merseyside giants.
Quansah has made 22 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool, with only two of them being from the first whistle in the Premier League.

Newcastle United are interested in Jarrell Quansah
Quansah has impressed when he has been handed opportunities, and that has led to interest emerging from Newcastle United.
The Magpies are plotting a £30million move for the Reds star who could be looking for some more regular game time in a bid to progress his career.
Selling him would also be seen as pure profit from Liverpool’s perspective, which would benefit them with profit and sustainability should they choose to be active in the summer transfer window.
Quansah is locked into a deal until 2029, with Liverpool boasting the option of a further year, meaning they are in a great negotiating position if they do decide to discuss his future with Newcastle or any other potential suitors.

Liverpool have plans for Jarell Quansah
The Reds appear unlikely to sell Quansah in the upcoming transfer window, regardless of the fact that he’s been merely a squad player this season.
According to The Athletic, the Reds are planning on Quansah being part of the squad next season and don’t intend on letting him leave during the summer.
The young defender is said to be a “big part” of Slot’s long-term plans, which is why he green-lit a five-year contract back in October.
The Liverpool boss sees value and potential in Quansah, which is also why they knocked Newcastle back when they previously attempted to try and sign him.
The Englishman was left out of Thomas Tuchel’s first Three Lions squad though, which is why he will be pushing for more opportunities next season.
