His departure will be a serious blow to the Reds due to how influential he is in the team both from a defensive and attacking aspect, but it has sent alarm bells ringing for supporters.

With one of the out-of-contract stars now confirmed to be moving on from Liverpool, there is a fear that the club will fail to retain any of them, which is something the Anfield faithful are refusing to consider.
