Dominik Szoboszlai sends four-word message after international drama explodes
Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai played the full 90 minutes on Sunday as Hungary fell to a 3-0 defeat against Turkiye.
After losing the first leg of their Nations League play-off 3-1, the latest defeat meant a 6-1 loss on aggregate for Hungary, who drop down to League B.
With the Reds having been knocked out of the Champions League and also losing the Carabao Cup the week prior, it’s been a difficult period for Szboszlai, who seemingly let his frustrations out.

Szoboszlai involved in international drama
After a season in which he has often been on the winning side of things, Szoboszlai will have been given a harsh reminder that things aren’t always going to be so successful.
It was not just frustration over the result that got to the midfielder either, and during the defeat, Real Madrid’s Arda Guler shushed Szoboszlai as the pair argued.
After the game, the Liverpool man was quick to comment on a picture of the incident, saying: “1088”, referring to the minutes his opponent has played for Real Madrid this term.
Szoboszlai, on the other hand, has played 2887 minutes for Liverpool this season and contributed plenty at the top end of the pitch, as he charges towards the Premier League title.

The 24-year-old then took to his Instagram story to share a picture of himself and his international side, accompanied by a caption that translates as: “We’ll be right back.”

Liverpool need to end season on a high
Liverpool have been fairly unstoppable throughout the season so far, and losing just one Premier League game has put them in a very comfortable position at the top of the table.
Arne Slot’s side sits 12 points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table and needs 16 more points to secure the title, something they look well on track to do.
However, the Reds may be about to face their first real period of pressure too, with an expectation on the team to bounce back after a difficult week in cup competitions before the international break.
There have also been suggestions this season that Liverpool are dominant because of Arsenal’s bad luck rather than being successful themselves, which gives the manager something to prove.
Liverpool host rivals Everton upon a return to league football, and while they are favourites, at Goodison Park, they had to settle for a draw.
Szoboszlai clearly feels some frustration after a difficult time of late, but he has contributed plenty to his side this season, and the key now is to back that up as he returns from international duty.
