Liverpool to use £25m bargaining chip to sign Mo Salah replacement – Anfield insider
Liverpool may need to replace Mohamed Salah in the summer transfer window.
The Egyptian has notched 44 goals and assists in a historic season that has the Reds in touching distance of the Premier League title.
However, he is out of contract at the end of the season and there has been no progress, so the Anfield outfit may need to identify a successor to the 32-year-old.

Liverpool to use Ben Doak as Antoine Semenyo makeweight
Liverpool could use Ben Doak as a bargaining chip to sign Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo in the summer, according to Alan Nixon.
The newspaper journalist reported via his Patreon (23 March) that the Reds like the Cherries ace as a potential replacement for Salah.
The report claims that Anfield insiders view the £25million-rated Scotland star as the ideal makeweight for a deal upon his return from a loan spell at Middlesbrough.

Salah contract should be priority for Liverpool
Semenyo is a very good player and has proved his quality notching seven goals and four assists for Andoni Iraola’s side.
However, he is nowhere near Salah’s level and would be a significant downgrade on the Egyptian if he was to make the move to Anfield.

The Reds should be focused on doing whatever they need to do to keep their star man on Merseyside beyond the end of the campaign as he looks set to break the Premier League record for the most contributions in a single season, which is currently held by Alan Shearer with 47.
His numbers are remarkable and he has shown no sign of slowing down despite his advancing age and he should be rewarded with a new deal as they have relied on his impact this season.
Fenway Sports Group may have to break their strict wage structure to keep him at Anfield but it is a no-brainer given his sensational form that is a major factor in Slot’s side commanding position in the title race.
Allowing Salah to leave could set the L4 outfit back years, if they fail to bring in sufficient quality to replace him and with concerns over the form of Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez it does not make sense to lose your standout attacker.
