Liverpool to eye Bowen deal amid £35m Elliott exit claim at Anfield – Exclusive
Liverpool may be skipping back towards Premier League title glory, but the summer will present an uncertain situation regarding their prized assets.
As talk continues on the respective situations of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, Arne Slot is focused on the task at hand as movement gradually builds in the background.
While the out-of-contract trio are the hot topic of discussion, others in Slot’s squad may look to move on for regular football elsewhere, as the Reds look for their next marquee arrivals to keep the Anfield crowd onside.

Liverpool backed to move for Jarrod Bowen if Salah leaves
Salah, 32, finds himself in a precarious situation with Liverpool attempting to make the right move for their long-term future.
Another player who could move on in the summer is boyhood Liverpool supporter Harvey Elliott, who made his dream move to the Reds aged 16 and, soon to be 22, could be looking for regular game time.
TV commentator Ian Darke, exclusively speaking to Liverpool News, believes Elliott is now at the stage where he will want to start on a weekly basis and the Reds may struggle to turn down a bid in excess of £35million.
While Salah would leave on a free transfer if it were this summer unless some sort of quick contract extension could be reached, Elliott’s fee could help fund a move for West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen, or Brentford talisman Bryan Mbeumo.
“Elliott falls into the category of someone who would be on Thomas Tuchel’s list to get an England chance at some point in the next year,” Darke began.
“He always seems to make a pretty positive contribution when he’s used, like the goal against PSG and assist for Chiesa against Newcastle. It’s his misfortune that he plays in a similar position to Salah.
“If Salah goes, Slot could be chasing someone like Mbeumo or Bowen… maybe not stick with Elliott as first-choice.
“Someone in that case could even throw, say, £35million at Elliott to test Liverpool’s resolve. A situation like that could happen.”

Bowen or Mbeumo could make switch to Anfield
Salah is a legend unprecedented in the past decade since Steven Gerrard left Liverpool, and is thus irreplaceable.
Should his historic spell at Anfield come to an end this summer, however, life must go on and Mbeumo and Bowen have been on fire for their respective mid-table clubs for years, proving their Premier League acumen tenfold.

Elliott’s situation will be interesting – the England Under-21 star loves Liverpool and the fans appreciate his ethic when he comes onto the pitch, but at what cost to his long-term career?
This summer could be an absolutely massive one in the future era of the champions-elect under Slot.
