Mohamed Salah tipped to quit Liverpool for insane tax-free contract

Liverpool look set to part ways with Mohamed Salah as his contract looks set to expire at the end of the season.

The Egypt international is set to depart Anfield at the end of the season as no announcement has been made about his future in L4.

The Reds are now preparing for life after the 32-year-old as a new deal with just nine games remaining in the Premier League feels unlikely.

Looking ahead to the summer, a transfer update has emerged which could soon see the forward find his new destination for the new campaign.

Salah to accept multi-million Saudi Arabia offer

The former Chelsea winger has spoken all season about the lack of offer from the Merseyside outfit and that doesn’t look like changing.

It looks likely that Arne Slot is going to have to prepare for life without the Egyptian ahead of his second season in charge at Anfield.

With that being said, supporters are awaiting an update on where the forward could land in the summer if he is to depart the Premier League.

Former Brentford and Leicester City manager Martin Allen believes Salah will know what is happening with a potential £1million-per-week offer set to come from Saudi Arabia.

Speaking exclusively to Liverpool News, Allen said: “Mo Salah has said there’s no offer and has played everything down.

He’ll know exactly what’s going on.

His agent will be speaking to other clubs and if he can get £800k-a-week or £1m-a-week tax free in Saudi Arabia, he’ll go.

He’s been at the top level in the Premier League and has been particularly superb this season.

Liverpool must prepare for life without Salah

There is no doubt that Liverpool wouldn’t have achieved as much as they have in the last eight years if it wasn’t for the ex-Roma man.

His goals and assists have helped to contribute to a raft of elite trophies including a Premier League and a Champions League title.

That success has been echoed this season with his record-breaking output for the Reds which looks set to result in a second league win.

Regardless of this, it looks as if the Egyptian king is set to depart alongside Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the summer.

This is going to represent a huge change at Anfield as the side Jurgen Klopp assembled begin to move on.
