Liverpool fans delighted as Mohamed Salah announcement made
Mohamed Salah has been recognised for his sensational form for Liverpool last month.
Liverpool star Salah is on a roll this season and has been posting unbelievable numbers in the Premier League. The Egyptian has already netted 27 goals and provided 17 assists in 29 top-flight outings.
Indeed his goal contribution tally across all competitions reads as 54 in 42 games this term, with the forward absolutely flying.
Salah could be in his final season at Liverpool as his current deal is about to end at the end of the campaign, leaving him free to sign for another club.

Premier League recognise Salah form for Liverpool
The 32-year-old’s spectacular form has attracted the applause of players, managers and pundits across Europe. He is having a truly magical season in what could be his last at Anfield.
Salah arrived from Roma in 2017 and quickly became the heartbeat of the team, first under Jurgen Klopp and now under Arne Slot. Under Slot, Salah is producing magical numbers and operating at an extremely high level of productivity.
In the month of February, the Egyptian either scored or assisted a goal in every Premier League game he played in. Salah scored in five consecutive games in February and was only goalless against Newcastle United.
Competition | Matches | Goals | Assists |
Premier League | 29 | 27 | 17 |
Champions League | 9 | 3 | 4 |
EFL Cup | 4 | 2 | 1 |
In six Premier League matches in February, Salah netted six goals and provided four assists, helping Liverpool remain unbeaten throughout the month.
Given his impeccable numbers, Salah won the Premier League Player of the Month for February, Liverpool announced on X.
Reacting to Liverpool’s announcement, one fan commented: “All time best PL player” while other Reds fan commented: “King”
Contract decisions loom for the Reds?
Along with Salah, the contracts of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are also expiring. The trio have been Liverpool’s most important players of the last decade and have won multiple trophies together.
Alexander-Arnold is being courted by Real Madrid and it is looking likely that the Englishman will want to join the Spanish giants in the summer. Van Dijk and Salah are on the wrong side of thirty and despite their valiant performances, it looks like the Reds hierarchy are planning to bring young and fresh faces to the squad.
Salah has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia but nothing concrete has been reported yet. Only time will tell whether this is Salah’s last season at Anfield or not.
