Jarell Quansah ‘can revive Liverpool career’ after new announcement
Jarell Quansah has suffered a disappointing sophomore season at Liverpool, but things could be about to change.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a superb breakout campaign last season under Jurgen Klopp, making 34 appearances including 13 starts in the Premier League.
The England Under-21s international has struggled to have the same impact under Arne Slot and has been restricted to just 21 appearances and 10 starts in all competitions this season.
However, a new announcement may give him the chance to make it a successful season despite the constant setbacks.

Liverpool star Quansah gets England call-up
The Reds academy graduate could get his stunning breakthrough back on track after he was called up to Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad for the upcoming international break.
Quansah could make his senior debut for the Three Lions against either Albania (21 March) or Latvia (24 March) in the World Cup qualifiers.
It would be the latest feather in his already impressive cap if he can secure a first senior appearance for his country.

Quansah can bounce back from Liverpool struggles
Quansah’s struggles are due to a period of bad form and the immense performances of Ibrahima Konate alongside Virgil van Dijk.
However, he has proved on several occasions that he is ready to bounce back and show Slot that he is the required quality to demand a place in his squad.
Quansah stats | 2023/24 | 2024/25 |
Games played | 34 | 21 |
Starts | 27 | 10 |
Minutes played | 2,584 | 998 |
The Champions League last-16 exit to Paris Saint-Germain was disappointing but Quansah was brilliant after replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold, both defensively and when the Reds were on the attack.
He will get the chance to start in the Carabao Cup final at right-back with Alexander-Arnold and Conor Bradley out injured after replacing Konate in last season’s Wembley success.
The duel between Quansah and Harvey Barnes, who is expected to replace the suspended Anthony Gordon could be crucial in deciding which direction the contest goes in, whether the Merseysiders come away with the trophy.
The way that he played against the Parisians, it seems like his on a mission to prove himself to Slot and return to the form that gave him an opportunity in the first place.
If he can do that, further chances to feature for his nation will come and this call-up will be the first of many.
