Liverpool fans rage over PSG antics spotted in penalty shootout
Liverpool crashed out of the Champions League with a penalty shootout defeat to Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield on Tuesday.
The Reds headed into their Round of 16 second-leg tie with the Ligue 1 giants with a 1-0 aggregate advantage following their win in Paris last week.
Luis Enrique’s men emerged as 1-0 victors on the night, with the Parisians scoring each of their four penalties in front of the travelling fans to go through.

Liverpool supporters left furious with PSG fan during penalty shootout
PSG won the penalty shootout 4-1 as Vitinha, Goncalo Ramos, Dembele and Desire Doue all held their nerve from 12 yards to beat Alisson.
On the contrary, Mohamed Salah was the only Liverpool penalty taker who was successful with his spot-kick, as both Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones saw their efforts thwarted by Gianluigi Donnarumma.

But it was a supporter in the away end which has caused frustration among the Reds faithful.
A Paris Saint-Germain fan had a megaphone, with constant whistling also taking place as the away side made the most of their advantage.
One Liverpool supporter wrote on X: “Tell me how I can’t take a water bottle into the ground but this PSG fan in the front row got a flippin megaphone.”
Another user quoted that post and said: “And the whistles, so annoying.”
Meanwhile one Liverpool fan posted: “Out to a brilliant PSG team who deserved to progress, game of margins, we had the luck the first game, they did today, move on, no complaints, apart from that biff with the megaphone.
“Considering how we’re treated on Euro aways, we don’t half give visiting Euro fans some freedom.”
Liverpool must not let their heads drop ahead of Sunday’s League Cup final
Aside from their premature exit from the Champions League, which has arrived courtesy of a penalty shootout defeat to one of the top sides in the European game, the Reds are enjoying an extremely successful season.
When boss Arne Slot first took the dugout responsibilities at Anfield, he had a huge task on his hands in replacing the legendary Jurgen Klopp.
But the Dutchman has proved himself as a perfect fit for the Merseyside giants so far, who look certain to lift the Premier League title, as they hold an incredibly healthy 15-point lead over second-place Arsenal in the top-flight.
The Reds have also reached the League Cup final where they will lock horns with Newcastle at Wembley this Sunday.
It is vital that Slot’s men do not let their morale drop, as the upcoming weekend presents them with a fantastic opportunity to lift their first silverware of what will prove to be a historic campaign.
