Matheus Cunha was at the heart of the action as Liverpool battled their way to a 2-1 win against Wolves on Sunday.
The Reds extended their lead at the top of the Premier League back to seven points after goals from Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah.

“It’s like a mix of sensations. We feel good points today but if we start the game like we did in the second half then we leave with a better result. We need to learn. I hope we get more points,” he said.
“Thank you, of course, I’m not completely happy because we didn’t get the points today but I will keep trying my best for the team and to help the guys.
“We need to believe if we can come here to play like we did against this unbelievable club, they are first in the league. The game is not only 45 minutes, it is 90 minutes and we need to keep this level for the rest of the season.”

After Slot spoke highly of Cunha and his ability, the inevitable transfer links may now emerge.
With the Reds being at the top of the Premier League, it feels like it only makes sense for Slot to try and make a move to bolster his striking department in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Indeed, Liverpool already have the likes of Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez who also play in the number nine role but judging from Cunha’s form this season, he could make a massive difference to the squad.
He’s already bagged 13 goals across all competitions and has also chipped in with four assists despite Wolves battling relegation in the Premier League.
