Sheffield United want to sign two Liverpool players in double new transfer
Liverpool are having an excellent season so far and find themselves sitting at the top of the Premier League table, six points clear of Arsenal in second place.
Arne Slot has got off to a perfect start as Liverpool boss and he is already taking the Reds forward towards even more success at Anfield.
However, there are several concerns about Anfield exits in the summer transfer window and it will be up to Slot to show what he can do after the season concludes.
Sheffield United eyeing up Liverpool transfers
Although high-profile names like Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are out of contract at the end of the campaign, others in the squad are catching the eye too.
The Daily Mail has reported that Sheffield United are interested in two younger Liverpool talents Owen Beck and Lewis Koumas.
Both players are out on loan in the Championship this term and are said to be on the Blades list should they achieve promotion back to the Premier League.
The young pair are well known to Sheffield United’s Alan Knill who worked with them in the Wales set-up where they have both been involved.

Arne Slot has transfer decisions to make at Liverpool
Although Slot will be keen to focus on the current season, there is no doubt that the boss will need to have his plan in place ready for the summer transfer window where plenty could happen in Merseyside.
Beck is a regular in the Blackburn Rovers side this term, making 23 appearances and scoring one goal from left-back at Ewood Park.
Koumas has achieved similar at Stoke City with three goals and two assists from 29 Championship appearances for the winger.
With this in mind, it’s not a surprise that Chris Wilder is eyeing up both as potential targets for the Blades, especially if his side can make it back into the Premier League.
However, Slot has shown that he is willing to use the young talent he has at Anfield if they prove their ability to make a positive impression on the team, which is something that Beck and Koumas will want to take advantage of.
While this may not be the most pressing issue on Slot’s mind currently, it will be interesting to see whether he’s ready to sanction exits for the duo or whether either has done enough to convince the Dutchman that they are ready for first-team football.
