Liverpool player ratings v Everton – Mac Allister shines as 4/10 teammate woeful

Liverpool drew 2-2 with Everton in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

The Reds failed to go nine points clear at the summit of the Premier League with a scrappy last-gasp draw at Goodison Park on 12 February.

The Blues took the lead through an 11th-minute Beto strike that left Arne Slot furious, Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah turned the clash around but James Tarkowski struck at the death to equalise.

Here, Liverpool News rates the Reds out of 10, with stats from Fotmob.

Alisson – 5

Nothing that he could do to stop the opener or the equaliser, made five recoveries, one save and recorded a 79 per cent pass accuracy.

Conor Bradley – 5 (off for Jones, 61)

The 21-year-old won just three of eight attempted ground duels for a 38 per cent success rate before he was substituted for Curtis Jones after nearly being handed a second yellow card for a foul on Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Ibrahima Konate – 6

Was not strong enough for the late equaliser but won all eight aerial duels that he contested for a 100 per cent success rate.

Virgil van Dijk – 6

Won five of nine aerial duels for a 56 per cent success rate in a sloppy performance for the Reds skipper.

Andy Robertson – 5 (off for Tsimikas, 69)

The Scotland captain was booked in the first-half and won just two of the four ground duels that he contested for a 50 per cent success rate.

Ryan Gravenberch – 6 (off for Alexander-Arnold, 61)

The Dutchman put in a rare poor performance at Goodison, creating zero chances and making just one interception and one recovery.

The Argentine midfielder got his side back into the clash with a wonderful header and made five passes into the final third while recovering the ball four times.

Dominik Szoboszlai – 6

Szoboszlai kept things ticking for the Reds but it was a particularly impressive display considering his 71 per cent pass accuracy and the fact he failed to create a chance.

Mohamed Salah – 8

The Egyptian notched an assist and a goal despite a quiet performance as he recorded just one touch in the opposition box against the Toffees.

Luis Diaz – 6 (off for Jota, 87)

The Colombia forward once again failed to impress in the number nine role as he created zero chances and had zero shots despite competing the most dribbles in the contest with four.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – 6 (on for Gravenberch, 61)
