Darwin Nunez exit: Gulf State sources share transfer update on Liverpool star
Arne Slot has adapted to life at Liverpool with no problem at all and already has the Reds in prime position for several pieces of silverware.
The Reds are sitting six points clear at the top of the Premier League, putting them in pole position looking ahead towards the closing months of the campaign.
However, the boss will be eager to build upon his current success and the summer transfer window could be a big part of that.
Darwin Nunez linked with Liverpool exit
The Reds have several key players out of contract in the summer transfer window but there is also speculation surrounding those still under contract too.
Al Nassr made an approach to sign Darwin Nunez in the winter transfer window but Liverpool rejected this advance.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the Saudi Pro-League club have not been put off by their rejections so far and are expected to go back to the Merseyside club in the summer to continue their pursuit.
Furthermore, sources in the Gulf state say that the Saudi Pro-League is planning a big investment across the board in 2025 which could make any offer much bigger than expected.

Arne Slot has Darwin Nunez decision to make
Liverpool signed Nunez for a fee of £85million so they certainly wouldn’t be willing to lose him without a good fee being recouped, so increased investment in Saudi Arabia could change everything.
With Mohamed Salah one of the players out of contract at the end of the campaign, what happens regarding his future could play a big part in whether an exit for Nunez would even be considered.
Should Salah exit Anfield, then Slot will only be looking to bolster his attacking options to fill the gap left, rather than let anyone else go.
Nunez has made 32 appearances across all competitions this term, contributing six goals and five assists. However, with appearances being sporadic throughout the campaign, there is certainly a feeling that the 25-year-old could contribute more.
Jamie Carragher has insisted that he isn’t convinced by Nunez and his place in the side on a regular basis, suggesting that an exit from Merseyside could be on the cards in the summer window.
The positive for Slot is that his side is under no pressure to sell which puts them in a good position when it comes to making a choice over Nunez’s future at Anfield, regardless of any offer that is put to them.
