Trent Alexander-Arnold – 6 (off for Bradley, 70)
Created one chance, made ten passes into the final third and won all three of the tackles that he attempted for a 100 per cent success rate.
Ibrahima Konate – 7
The Frenchman won three of the four ground duels that he attempted for a 75 per cent success rate and made five clearances in a solid performance.
Virgil van Dijk – 7
Completed 89 per cent of his passes while making six recoveries and four clearances in a typical performance for the skipper.
Andy Robertson – 7
Made four passes into the final third, three clearances and won two of the three ground duels that he contested.
Ryan Gravenberch – 8
Recorded a 93 per cent pass completion and made the most tackles in the contest with four out of the seven he attempted for a 57 per cent success rate.
Alexis Mac Allister – 5 (off for Jones, 61)
Was nearly sent off, substituted early as a result after recording an 87 per cent passing accuracy and winning one of five ground duels that he contested.
Dominik Szoboszlai – 7
Created the most chances with three, recorded a 90 per cent pass accuracy and made seven recoveries in an industrious performance.

Mohamed Salah – 9 (off for Endo, 88)
Notched two goals including a stunning curling effort to wrap up the contest also created the most chances in the contest with two, and had 11 touches in the opposition box.
Luis Diaz – 6
The Colombian created one chance, had three touches in the opposition box and one shot on target in another quiet display.
Cody Gakpo – 6 (off for Nunez, 70)
The Dutchman created one chance and made two passes into the final third and it won a penalty that allowed the Reds to open the scoring.
