Liverpool fans are all in agreeance that Jurgen Klopp left the Anfield outfit in a strong enough position to thrive without him as a year has gone by since his departure.
Arne Slot has led the Reds to the top of the Premier League and Champions League tables and has outperformed the expectations of many.
At the moment, it feels hard to see how the Merseyside outfit are going to let things slip from here with their gap at the top of the Premier League only increasing.
Fans have reacted to the German’s departure a year on from when he resigned with all of them hailing the former Borussia Dortmund boss for how things were left at Anfield.
Liverpool supporters thankful for Jurgen Klopp
When it was announced that Klopp was going to be departing Merseyside at the end of the 2023/24 season, it was unknown whether Liverpool would be able to get straight back into things this term.
However, they’ve managed to do more than that and seem to be one of the most dominant forces in the top flight table.
One supporter said “He was right! That’s what a true leader does, self-reflection”, while another agreed and shared that “Klopp’s legacy endures, Liverpool moves forward.”
At the moment, things seem to be going swimmingly without the German at the helm but as with everything in football, things can change in an instant.
However, a year on from what was likely one of the hardest things to stomach as a Liverpool fan, the Reds seem to be in top shape with Slot potentially winning the Premier League during his first season in charge of the Anfield outfit.
