Harry Redknapp makes big Darwin Nunez admission after what he saw at Liverpool
Harry Redknapp has backed Darwin Nunez to kickstart his season for Liverpool against Ipswich Town on Saturday.
The Reds welcome the newly promoted side to Anfield on 24 January, just three days after the Champions League win against Lille.
Regardless of the quick turnaround, former Tottenham boss Redknapp has backed Arne Slot’s side to win 3-0 and has selected the Uruguay international as his player to watch.
In his weekly prediction column with BetVictor, he said: “This could be Darwin Nunez every week, you never know what you’ll get from that lad, but it will be entertaining!
“He was the hero last week and could go in from the start here.”

There is no doubt that the 25-year-old has the ability to become a star on Merseyside but just needs to show that talent on a weekly basis.
This has been shown in the most recent matches against Lille and Brentford where the Uruguayan has stood up to be counted by Slot.
Nunez bagged a late brace off the bench to secure three points against the Bees before putting in an excellent display in the Champions League despite not scoring.

Looking ahead to a clash against a struggling Ipswich Town side, there is every chance that the forward can continue this positive run of form just like Redknapp has predicted.
