Brentford v Liverpool preview: Team news, head-to-head, prediction
Liverpool will be hoping they can get back to winning ways as they prepare to travel to Brentford.
The Reds make the hop to the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday (18 January) to face the Bees, who have an excellent home record this term.
Arne Slot’s side have drawn their last two Premier League games and therefore, will be eager to get three points under their belt as their lead at the top of the table starts to decrease.
Preview
Liverpool have been in terrific form throughout the season so far, as their new manager has taken no time at all to settle into life at Anfield.
The Reds occupy the top spot in the Premier League table and are four points clear of Arsenal in second place.
Slot’s side drew with Nottingham Forest on Tuesday (14 January) meaning they have won just one game in their last four, which was against Accrington Stanley.
Brentford come into this one on the back of a 2-2 home draw with Manchester City on Tuesday, as they look to find some consistency in their form.
