Sky Sports share massive new Trent Alexander-Arnold exit update from Liverpool
Real Madrid have not yet reached a pre-contract agreement with Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, according to Sky Sports.
The outlet says that Spanish reports that a deal was almost complete between the two parties were “wide of the mark” on 16 January.
The 26-year-old is able to negotiate a pre-contract with foreign clubs for a free transfer in the summer as he is in the final six months of his deal at Anfield.

Trent Alexander-Arnold to leave Liverpool?
The issue hits closer to home for Reds supporters because Alexander-Arnold is one of their own, a local lad who achieved his dream and won the Premier League and Champions League with his boyhood club.
While Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah have indicated that they would like to stay on Merseyside, the academy graduate is not willing to disclose his position publicly.
That has led to constant speculation from Spain that the right-back is going to join the 15-time European champions.

It is easy to understand the appeal that a move to the Spanish capital presents, it would likely take him to the next level of stardom and closer to a chance of winning the Ballon d’Or, which he has stated is a dream of his in the past.
However, can he leave the club that he has been at since he was six years old? The club he is destined to captain in the future? Can he turn his back on the supporters who have backed him through thick and thin, who sing his name every week?
It remains to be seen whether the England star will stay at Anfield, it would be a huge blow for Arne Slot’s side if he does decide to leave, especially without a massive fee attached.
