Liverpool told to sell ‘garbage’ Luis Diaz after incident v Nottingham Forest
Liverpool are being urged to get rid of Luis Diaz after a shocker against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.
Diaz, 28, botched a golden opportunity for the Reds to equalise in the first half against Forest when he took too long to play a ball into Cody Gakpo, who was in an incredible goalscoring position.
Chris Wood had given the home side the lead at the City Ground early on but the game should have been level at the break if Colombia international Diaz managed to find Gakpo.
Liverpool fans in fit of rage over Luis Diaz
After the South American attacker’s poor decision-making, Liverpool fans took to social media to demand that he be sold by the Merseyside club.
One supporter called Diaz “garbage” while another said that Liverpool should “sell him at half time” due to how bad he was in the first half.
Here’s what the Liverpool fans have had to say:

Diaz had scored 12 goals and supplied three assists in 26 appearances in all competitions before Liverpool travelled to the East Midlands on Tuesday night.
Before firing a blank against Manchester United on 5 January, he’d scored three goals in two league appearances.
Arne Slot left him unused on the bench for the 4-0 FA Cup win over Accrington Stanley at the weekend but it seems that rest hasn’t done the Colombian any good based on his first-half showing in Nottingham.
