Liverpool v Man United preview: Team news, head-to-head, line-ups, how to watch
Liverpool will host Manchester United on Sunday hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
Arne Slot has taken the English game by storm and his side are currently six points clear at the summit of the top-flight.
However, that lead could be reduced to three points by the time the Anfield clash rolls around (5 December) if Arsenal win against Brighton (4 December).
Preview
The Reds have won their last four league matches since two draws against Newcastle and Fulham slowed their progress.
They have scored three goals or more in four of their last six matches, including a 6-3 win over Tottenham and a 5-0 hammering of West Ham on 29 December.
That run of form has led to talkSPORT host and former Aston Villa attacker Gabby Agbonlahor claiming that the title race is over already and the trophy is heading to Merseyside (30 December, 6:40).

However, Slot’s side will be taking every match as they come and focusing on securing a first title since the 2019/20 season.
Meanwhile, Ruben Amorim’s side have lost five of their last six matches in the top-flight with the only win coming against Manchester City on 15 December.
The Red Devils are in 14th place in the division and are 23 points behind their arch-rivals.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Manchester United
The Reds are expected to continue Amorim’s miserable recent run on Sunday.
Their attacks has been on fire lately and United’s defence has been very porous.
It won’t quite be as heavy as the 7-0 hammering in 2023 but it should be very comfortable for Slot’s charges.
In other Liverpool news, a Chelsea star has been identified as the perfect replacement if Trent Alexander-Arnold leaves for Real Madrid.
