Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker injury update emerges
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is ruled out with a Grade 2 hamstring injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that if he is to return on 24 November, he will be expected back in training in mid-November.
As he’s a goalkeeper, the physical demands are not quite as high so he can return to the first-team fold quicker than other outfielders.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Liverpool News 247: “I believe he’s had a Grade 2 hamstring injury based on what I have read.
“If the return date of 24 November holds, would expect him back in team training in mid-November and then transitioned back to first-team matches.
“The demands on keepers are less so the runway for returning to full matches is typically shorter.“
Alisson Becker will be a huge miss for Liverpool
The 32-year-old is one of the best keepers in the world and has proven his worth time and again for Liverpool.
Not only is he a terrific shot-stopper, but is also good with the ball at his feet as he helps build out from the back.

It remains to be seen if, in his absence, Arne Slot’s side struggle to get the desired results in their quest for the league title with Caoimhin Kelleher expected to take over the first-team duties.
