Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott injury update shared by Doctor

Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott may not be back from his ankle injury until November, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the 21-year-old is out with a significant setback, given the six-week timeline put on his return.

Arne Slot confirmed that the Englishman will be out for weeks due to a fracture in his foot.

Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Liverpool News 247:

The timeline looks to be around six weeks so it’s likely something significant.

That being said, we don’t have much information at all on it.

Foot and ankle injuries can be tricky due to the complexity of the area and the high demands required for it during football.

“There’s a high possibility Elliott does not return until November.”

Harvey Elliott’s absence is a big miss for Liverpool

Elliott was an important player off the bench last season for the Reds, making 23 substitute appearances in the Premier League in addition to 11 starts.

This season, he could play just seven league minutes before suffering a gruelling injury setback.

Slot will be hoping that he can return to some form of training on the other side of the international break and he may even be given minutes with the under-21s.
