Liverpool face competition from two Premier League clubs for Napoli ace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Liverpool will have to battle with two Premier League clubs to sign Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this summer, according to the Sunday Mirror.

The newspaper reported on 30 June via their print edition [Page 72] that the Georgia international wants to make the move to England in summer.

They also added that despite the Italian club wanting to extend his stay, Kvaratskhelia would prefer a move away.

What Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would bring to Liverpool

It’s no surprise that Liverpool are being linked with a plethora of talent to improve their team this summer.

The club are readying themselves for a new era under Arne Slot and will be looking to improve on their third-placed finish from last season.

Players such as Anthony Gordon [Daily Mail, 29 June] and Atalanta star Ademola Lookman [Calcio Mercato], 25 June] are just two of the wingers that the Reds could bring to Anfield this transfer window.

However, Kvaratskhelia is on a different level to the aforementioned two and would be a stellar addition to Liverpool’s lineup.

Not only would his versatility help Slot across the board but his clinical finish and keen eye for a pass would also give the Reds another level to their attack.

Although a deal wouldn’t come cheap, it’s undeniable how much of an impact the Georgia hero would have on Liverpool’s hopes of dethroning Manchester City once again.
