Liverpool ace Dominik Szoboszlai leads the way for Hungary
Szoboszlai has continued to split opinion with his performances for Hungary at Euro 2024.
He assisted the equaliser in his country’s opening game against Switzerland despite having little influence on the game beforehand.
As per Sofascore, Szoboszlai earned an 8/10 match rating for that game and 7.27 overall for the tournament.
However his 7.2/10 rating against Scotland without a goal contribution shows that Szoboszlai could be returning to his best form.

The Hungary captain completed 77% of his passes with four key passes throughout the match, with one of those key passes starting the counter-attack that led to the Hungary winner.
He also created one big chance when his free-kick was met by former RB Leipzig teammate Willi Orban, who hit the crossbar.

Szoboszlai found himself in a good position moments later but eventual goalscorer Kevin Csoboth opted to shoot rather than pass and his effort struck the post.
With a Man of the Match performance [BBC 23 June], Liverpool fans can be optimistic about Szoboszlai to carry this form into the new season.
