Liverpool are planning on Mohamed Salah staying at Anfield for next season already, according to The Athletic on Monday 29 April.

David Ornstein has reported that the Egyptian superstar has given no indication that he wants to leave, despite his public fallout with Jurgen Klopp over the weekend.

Salah was seen in a spat just before coming onto the pitch in the 2-2 draw against West Ham United at the London Stadium.

As he approaches the final 12 months of his contract, speculation is continuing to rise, but it looks as though he is going nowhere.

It will be a massive summer of change at Anfield as Klopp prepares to leave in a matter of weeks, but it looks as though Salah will not follow.

Feyenoord boss Arne Slot looks set to be the next in charge of the Reds, and he will be counting on the likes of the star attacker to help him push for silverware instantly.

These spats happen in football, especially in the heat of the moment as the Premier League title looks to have slipped away from Liverpool.

It has been a disastrous few weeks for the club, crashing out of the Europa League, as well as the race for the title, with Salah left on the bench more than once.

Hopefully, the last few games are much more positive and Salah can lay down a marker to hit the ground running once again next season at Anfield.
