Liverpool will not appoint Ruben Amorim in new manager update at Anfield
Ruben Amorim will not be the next manager of Liverpool, according to Record.
The Portuguese newspaper has reported on its website (23 April) that a source close to the manager has shared the only certainty is that he will not take charge of the Reds or West Ham.
It comes after a “controversial” trip to England where he met with the London club, a meeting that did not end well given this new update.
Ruben Amorim will not replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp confirmed that he would be leaving in the summer months ago, but no progress has been made yet as to who his successor could be.
Xabi Alonso was quickly taken off the table and despite positive updates on Amorim, it looks as though that is another name that can be crossed off too.
Liverpool only have the Premier League left to fight for and Klopp will be desperate to lift that title as his final act on Merseyside after many successful years.
Amorim is doing the exact same over in Portugal, as he dominates with his Sporting Lisbon side, something that may keep him exactly where he is despite interest growing.

It will be interesting to see which names appear next in the hunt to replace Klopp, with Roberto De Zerbi at Brighton one who never seems to be going away.
All eyes are on this huge next step in the history of this famous club.
