Liverpool v Crystal Palace injury news: Doctor shares Alisson Becker update
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is not expected to be back for the Crystal Palace game, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that he is out with a possible High Grade 2 hamstring strain which has kept him out for a number of games.
The Reds take on Palace at Anfield on Sunday, 14 April and a realistic return date for the Brazilian is Fulham on 21 April.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Liverpool News 247: “Based on the comments made by Klopp, it sounds like he is back in partial training.
“The specifics of his injury are a hamstring strain, possibly a high Grade 2 based on the timeline thus far.
“He’s not likely to be fit for the game at the weekend and next week is a better indicator for his return.
“If he returns to full first-team training by Monday or Tuesday, he could be back in action at the end of the next week.“
Alisson return gives Liverpool huge chance of treble
Having won the Carabao Cup, the Reds have the chance to add two trophies to their cabinet this season by winning the Premier League and Europa League.
While Caoimhin Kelleher has performed exceptionally in Alisson’s absence, the Brazilian is one of the best keepers around.

With him in the side, the defenders are also at ease and that sees Liverpool playing with more confidence and Jurgen Klopp will also want him back in action soon.
In other Liverpool news, Klopp wants the Reds to sign this player in the summer despite the fact he’s on his way out.
