Liverpool not in negotiations with Jason Wilcox after Manchester United news
Liverpool have not entered negotiations to try and hire Jason Wilcox with nothing planned, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Southampton director of football is said to have agreed a move to Manchester United, with INEOS making their moves at Old Trafford.
Romano described that move as when, not if, with Liverpool seemingly not in the race to hire the Saints chief, as they hold out for compensation.
Liverpool miss out on Jason Wilcox at Anfield?
With a huge summer of change on and off the pitch ahead for the Reds, it is no surprise to see links such as these emerging each week at the minute.
Jurgen Klopp confirmed his summer exit months ago, with plans well and truly in place at boardroom level to make big changes.
Michael Edwards has returned to work alongside FSG, with Richard Hughes another new hire from Bournemouth, officially starting on June 1.

With the Premier League and Europa League on the line in this final stretch of the season, all eyes are on a magical end for Klopp at Anfield.
Wilcox is another who will not be in town next season, and it will be a long wait to see if the Reds could regret that should he move to Manchester United as expected.
For now, it’s all about winning games and hopefully, more silverware.
In other Liverpool news, Taylor Hinds’ return from injury was a silver lining to a heavy defeat to Manchester City.
