Liverpool predicted XI v Brighton – Jurgen Klopp to replace Andy Robertson after latest injury
Jurgen Klopp is predicted to make three changes to his injury-hit Liverpool side for their return to Premier League action against Brighton.
The Seagulls travel to Anfield on Sunday 31 March following the international break, with the injury picture further extended since the 4-3 FA Cup loss at Manchester United after Andy Robertson limped off for Scotland in their defeat against Northern Ireland on Tuesday night.
The full-back is therefore tipped to be one of the changes from the defeat at Old Trafford on 17 March, with Joe Gomez likely to switch from right to left after two outings for England and Conor Bradley, who scored the only goal of the game against Robertson’s Scotland, to come in on the right.
Liverpool injuries continue to mount up for Premier League run in
Harvey Elliott scored off the bench against United and impressed again during the international break for England under-21s, alongside Jarrell Quansah, in their 7-0 thrashing of Luxembourg so could take Dominik Szoboszlai’s place in the XI.
Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo and Luiz Diaz all suffered fitness issues in the Cup defeat but the Uruguayan was the only one who had to turn down an international call up, so Gakpo, who came off the bench for the Netherlands against Germany is slated to come in, even if Klopp suggested Nunez’s issue may not be too serious [Premier Injuries].
Ibrahima Konate played the full 90 minutes for France so looks to be back from his own injury, but there seems little reason to rush him back into the starting line-up when Quansah has done well of late next to Virgil van Dijk.

Otherwise, Caoimhin Kelleher will continue in goal with Alisson still out, with Van Dijk and Quansah flanked by Gomez and Bradley.
Wataru Endo and Alexis Mac Allister keep their places in midfield, with Elliott rounding out the central three, while Diaz and Mohammed Salah are predicted to start either side of Gakpo in attack.
